Dr. Vivek Sreeram earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin before pursuing his medical education at St. George’s University School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree.

He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, affiliated with Case Western Reserve University. He subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, where he gained extensive experience in both open vascular surgery and advanced minimally invasive endovascular procedures.

Dr. Sreeram specializes in the comprehensive treatment of arterial and venous disease, with clinical interests in complex aortic pathology, peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, and advanced endovascular interventions. His surgical experience includes the treatment of complex vascular conditions using both traditional open surgical reconstruction and minimally invasive endovascular techniques. He is known for taking a highly individualized approach to vascular care, carefully weighing each patient’s condition, overall health, and personal goals to determine the most appropriate treatment.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Sreeram maintains an active interest in vascular surgery research and surgical education. He is dedicated to advancing the field through continued learning, collaboration, and the development of innovative surgical techniques that improve the care of patients with complex vascular disease.

Dr. Sreeram maintains active membership in several leading professional organizations, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Surgeons.

Having completed his undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin and with roots in the Houston area, Dr. Sreeram is excited to serve the community he considers home. He takes pride in building meaningful relationships with his patients and providing compassionate, personalized care to help them achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sreeram enjoys traveling internationally, discovering local bakeries and trying new pastries, and reading fiction. He especially enjoys exploring new cultures and discovering the unique culinary traditions of the places he visits.
